Getting to Alcossebre is easy: the village is on the northern coast of Castellón province, between Valencia and Barcelona, next to the AP-7 and the N-340.
By car
From the AP-7, take exit 44 (Alcossebre-Torreblanca). If you're coming along the N-340, the CV-142 road takes you to Alcossebre and the coast. These are approximate road distances, without traffic:
| From | Distance | Approx. time |
|---|---|---|
| Castellón de la Plana | ~50 km | 45 min |
| Valencia | ~120 km | 1 h 30 min |
| Barcelona | ~240 km | 2 h 50 min |
| Zaragoza | ~255 km | 3 h 30 min |
| Madrid | ~465 km | 5 h 15 min |
| Bilbao | ~565 km | 6 h 45 min |
With children, from Madrid or Bilbao it's worth planning one or two long stops. Arriving mid-afternoon gives you time to settle into the apartment and head down to the beach before dinner.
Parking
Alcossebre Sea Experience has covered parking. Hotel Alcossebre has no parking of its own, but says there is free public parking nearby.
