If you are looking for an all inclusive hotel in Alcossebre, it is worth knowing this before you book: Alcossebre is a seaside town with many apartments and few hotels, and all inclusive, with meals, drinks and snacks in the price, is not the usual format here. Most people book room only (aparthotel or holiday rental) or, in a hotel, bed and breakfast, half board or full board. Here is what each option offers and which one suits your family.
Is there an all inclusive hotel in Alcossebre?
Alcossebre has no large all inclusive resorts like other coastal destinations. The Valencian Region tourism register lists three- and four-star hotels, hostales and the Alcossebre Sea Experience aparthotel in Alcalà de Xivert-Alcossebre, but it does not state the board each one offers. Every hotel publishes that on its own website and booking engine, and it can change from one season to the next.
So if all inclusive is a must for you, check the exact board on the hotel's official website before you pay, and don't rely on the generic filters of booking sites, which sometimes tag places as "all inclusive" when they don't offer it.
What board does Alcossebre Sea Experience offer?
Alcossebre Sea Experience, the aparthotel on the site of the former Hotel Jeremías on Cargador beach, offers neither all inclusive nor half or full board: it is a 4-star aparthotel with 90 apartments, each with its own kitchen. The services listed on its official website include the spa, outdoor pools, gym, yoga room, a lounge with library and vending machines, and the rooftop skybar with an infinity pool, bar, sun loungers and Balinese beds.

In other words: you stay in an apartment with hotel services (reception, cleaning, pools) and decide what and when to eat. With young children, that has clear advantages:
- Your own schedule: purées, bottles, snacks and dinner when the children need them, not when the buffet opens.
- Space: most apartments have two bedrooms, a living room and a terrace.
- Eat out when you feel like it: the seafront promenade and the town centre, with their restaurants, are a few minutes' walk away.
To see the apartment types and services, visit the official Alcossebre Sea Experience website. On aparthotel or hotel for families we compare both formats point by point.

What about Hotel Alcossebre?
Hotel Alcossebre, on the seafront promenade, was the town's hotel with a buffet restaurant and entertainment, offering half board and full board. It is now closed for refurbishment and no reopening date has been announced, so it is not an option for your next holiday. We will update this guide when it reopens.
Alternatives to all inclusive in Alcossebre
If what you want from all inclusive is an easy, hassle-free holiday, Alcossebre has other ways to get it without a fixed meal plan:
| Option | Meals | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Aparthotel (Alcossebre Sea Experience) | Kitchen in the apartment; rooftop skybar | Families who want hotel services, a spa and a children's pool |
| Holiday rental (Casa Azahar) | Own kitchen; town restaurants within walking distance | Stays of a week or more, tighter budgets, larger families |
| Hotel with half or full board | Buffet or set menu at the hotel | Anyone who doesn't want to cook at all; check the board on each hotel's website |

Self-catering apartments for more flexibility
For a week or longer, an apartment gives you more freedom than a fixed meal plan. Casa Azahar manages holiday rentals in Alcossebre near Cargador, Las Fuentes and Romana beaches. For example, the Marino apartments are on the Las Fuentes seafront, with direct access to the promenade and pools for adults and children. Please note that Casa Azahar does not accept pets in any of its buildings.

How to organise meals without all inclusive
- Breakfast and dinner at the apartment, lunch out: many families in Alcossebre do this. Have a relaxed breakfast on the terrace and lunch near the beach.
- The Tuesday market: May to October, late afternoon, next to the seafront promenade; a nice plan after the beach.
- Local food: arroz al horno (oven-baked rice), arroz a la marinera, suquet de peix and the tomata de penjar from Alcalà de Xivert are local dishes and produce worth trying.
