Lots of people still search for the Hotel Jeremías when planning a return trip to Alcossebre. The short answer: the hotel no longer exists under that name, but its successor stands on the same spot and still welcomes families facing Cargador beach.
What the Hotel Jeremías was
It was one of the pioneering hotels of modern tourism in Alcocéber. In its best-remembered era it was a three-star hotel with around 40 rooms, with a pool, gardens, a buffet restaurant, entertainment and parking, right on Cargador beach and close to the marina. Many families came back summer after summer.

What stands there today
Around 2017 it stopped operating as the Hotel Jeremías. The building was completely rebuilt and in 2019 it reopened as Alcossebre Sea Experience: a four-star aparthotel with 90 apartments over five floors, pools, a rooftop skybar and a spa opened in January 2020. Same site, same beach and a different way to stay, better suited to families who need space.
